A view of Williamsport, PA from a picture postcard sent in 1907 to Flora Foltz in Guthrie, OK, from Clara E. Waltz in Williamsport. On the card she states,
"Dear Cousin, I received your letter Monday. I am home now in Williamsport. I will send you the view of it. I am going to Lock Haven today to see two of my sisters. Brother Pierce is going along. will answer your most welcome letter this week. C.E.W. From Clara"
[Clara was Clara Ella Waltz, the daughter of George W. Waltz who m. Mary Ann Sheets. This George Waltz was the older brother of Caroline Waltz. Thus Clara and Flora were first cousins. Brother Pierce was Clara's brother, Abraham Pierce Waltz, who became a Baptist minister and composed the Waltz Genealogy mentioned elsewhere. Since Clara had three sisters who were alive in 1907, it's not clear which two she meant. - J.W.A.]
