Band Memorial Concert - August 13

Memories in StereoSeveral hundred people turned out for a bands concert in memory of Sam Adams and Jenny Goodhue on Friday, Aug 13 at the church rec hall.

On that occasion, Sam's band, The Writing Scar, placed on sale a limited edition of a CD -- Memories in Stereo -- produced in memory of Sam:

Sam wrote the undated poem "Into Eternity" but hadn't yet set it to music.
Sam's original band was called Stand Down and included Ben Conver, A.J. Brady and Steve Slaton in addition to Sam.
Sam later joined the current group, The Writing Scar with Stephen Slaton, Cullen Clark and Nathan Busse

Among the groups performing at the Bands Memorial Concert were Edgeland, Second Story Man, The Condiments, Your Black Star and Two Minutes Lost.
