"'fern'-guitar"

Reflection on Jenny's painting of Sam's plant resting next to her guitar:

For me this painting is another portrait portraying both Jenny and Sam; a story-portrait telling of their lives which were filled with music and brilliance. The perspective chosen for this "portrait" is most telling, a single, large and vibrant leaf shelters two smaller leaves, and one side of the instrument they both loved to use to share their faith and love.
