He's standing behind the family Ford in the shadow of the mountains of Magoffin Co where he had such vivid memories of his childhood. Don had married Wendell's older half-sister Helen August 3, 1929.

Bernice was born with Downs Syndrome May 4, 1919. She was about eight or nine when this photo was taken by Don Donaldson about 1928 or 1929. This may have been an Easter Bunny.
