Hannah White was the daughter of Silas White and Sarah Howell. She is said to have been a descendant of one of the Mayflower passengers.

			Shelly left N.J. and went to North Carolina 
			where he engaged in the printing business 
			between 1787-1795.  When his father, Isaac,
			made out his will in 1801 Shelly had not returned.
			   In N.C. he was likely associated with 
			Silas White Arnett, his older brother, 
			and Andrew Blanchard, his bro-in-law.

			would be due to Isaac, his son, if he returned home 
			in ten years. A similar con- dition had been made 
			regarding Isaac's brother, Shelly.

			professor and pastor at Princeton, Pastor of the 
			Presbyterian Church at Elizabeth, N.J., Pastor of 
			the Independent Presbyterian Church of Savannah, Ga.  
			He is remembered as one of the most eloquent 
			preachers of his day, called the "Whitfield of America."

			John: Rev. John McDowell, D.D., was 28yrs 
			the Pastor of the First Presbyterian Chruch of 
			Elizabethtown, then as Pastor of Central, 
			then the Spring Garden Presbyterian Churches 
			of Philadelphia.  Director and Trustee of 
			Princeton Theological Seminary 
			from 1812 till this death.

	   	viii	Shepard Kosciuszko Kollock. 
			Rev. Shepard Kosciuszko Kollock, D.D., 
			settled as a pastor at Norfolk, Va. 
			He was born while Gen. Kosciuszko was a guest 
			in his father's home.  The comte was his godfather 
			and took from his breast his order of St. Stanizlas 
			and placed it about the infant's neck.

Sec. of Board of Home Missions for 17yrs. Died at childhood home, "The Retreat," in Somerset Co., N.J. Spent large part of active life as Trustee of Princeton College. Grandson was active in the SAR.

Rev. John Witherspoon, D.D., was son of Mary Whiting (Jones) Nash, (widow of Gov. Abner Nash), and her second husband, David Witherspoon, son of Dr. John, "the Signer," and his wife Elizabeth Montgomery. Bea Beck of Claremont, CA is a descendant and e-mail correspondent. She states his middle name was Knox.
