As an assistant carpenter I have learned proper residential 1 and 2 story dwelling construction. Through my three summers of working with Mr. Shipley, I have gained knowledge as a frame carpenter, trim carpenter, roofer, ceramic tile cutter, drywall hanger, applying vinyl siding, installing kitchen cabinets and deck construction.
AutoCad Operator, Shipley Construction Company:
I am transferring to AutoCad a full set of blueprints for a two-story dwelling which were drawn by hand several years ago.
AutoCad Design, Bonnie-Belle's Wharf Restaurant:
I am currently assisting with AutoCad the design of the second floor bar area for the Bonnie-Belle's Wharf restaurant in Madison, Indiana. This project also entails design work for a new gang plank to the second floor along with a staircase connecting the two floors.
